faxtotype is a service that performs typing and data entry services for you.

What can faxtotype do for me ?
faxtotype can help you convert all kinds of paper documents into electronic form by typing them into industry standard MS Word or Ms Excel files. We can also create MS Powerpoint presentations.

What are paper documents ?
Paper documents include handwritten notes, photocopies, book excerpts, newspaper cuttings, bills, invoices, class notes, graphs, printouts, charts, magazine articles, pamphlets, manscripts, reports etc.

How does faxtotype work (how can I use faxtotype)?
Its simple. You first purchase the service on this web site. After you checkout, you need to note down the order number and your email address on all the pages you will fax us. Then you fax us all the pages. We will send you the typed file the next business day via email.

Why should I provide my email address ?
Providing your correct email address is extremely important. We will use this to deliver your typed computer file to you.

What if I have many pages, do I still need to write the order no. on all pages ?
In this case, you can prepare a cover page. You will need to mention the number of pages you are faxing, your email address and your order number.

What does next business day mean ?
Faxtotype will deliver your document via email Monday through Friday. Any pages faxed on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Monday. Please note that "business day" refers to a day in the United States of America. Our international customers will need to calibrate their delivery timings accordingly to this.

Under what circumstance will there be a delay in delivery by faxtotype?
Delivery dates may not be adhered to by faxtotype if clarifications are required from you on any subject (special instructions that you may have given, document's natural formatting etc.). Delivery dates may also not be adhered to if the faxed documents are not clear. In all such cases, we will need to contact you for clarifications and/or refaxing. Faxtotype will still make every attempt to deliver the document via email to you on time.

What is the price of the service ?

I have a graph. Will faxtotype convert it to a table for me?
faxtotype will read the graph and convert it to a table in MS Excel to the best possible measurement seen in the document you fax us.

I have some special instructions. How can I tell faxtotype about them ?
Prepare a fax cover. Mention your order number, email address, number of pages being faxed and any special instructions you may have.

Is there a restriction on the maximum number of pages I can fax?
There are no restrictions on the number of pages you fax us. However, if you have more than 20 pages, you will need to break the fax into 2 or more faxes (20 pages per fax).

What are faxtotype's dispute and refund policies ?
Faxtotype will make every effort to resolve disputes. In case the dispute cannot be resolved and it is determined that faxtotype needs to refund the customer, faxtotype will do so within 15 days of the decision. All refunds will be via checks.

Will faxtotype do any custom jobs ?
